far and away the best tribute band ever - including that Beatles thing on Broadway 25 years ago - b4 anybody asks why is DSO ok but not Ratdog I ask is Ratdog a tribute band?

Hopefully you will get a 27 song 70's show with some good shit; ie. Mr. Charlie (they rock it) - Me and Bobby - Sing me back home, etc..

Ratdog is so much more than just OK. And they're not a tribute band. Bob Weir doesn't want to pay tribute to himself. On the other hand, he does pay tribute on a nightly basis to Jerry Garcia. It is different with Weir, though, because he had a hand in creating the music, so something very personal exists within his shows that no Grateful Dead cover band will ever have.
